"Journey to the Whitehouse" makes a stop at Midtown

Dr. Joan M. E. Gaither began making a "Journey to the Whitehouse" Quilt in June of 2008. The quilt was conceived as a work of public art wheremembers of the public would be able to add their own square. Earlier this month, several Midtwon students went to see the quilt and some of their ideas and visions were incorporated into the quilt. You can read more in the Quilting the Journay to the Whitehouse weblog.
